USDA is reminding cattle producers impacted by Hurricane Helene and Hurricane Milton that there are USDA programs that provide assistance in the wake of disasters. USDA partnered with FEMA and other disaster-focused organizations and created the Disaster Resource Center. The Disaster Resource Center website and web tool now provide an easy access point to find USDA disaster information and assistance. USDA also developed a disaster assistance discovery tool specifically targeted to rural and agricultural issues. The tool helps producers identify which USDA programs can help them best recover from a natural disaster. NCBA encourages producers to be familiar with available disaster resources and their local USDA service center.

"We truly feel the NCBA

is a grassroots organization and there is power in numbers. Where else have you been part of a crowd of 6,000 people who salute the flag and say prayer before an annual conference?"
