Doug Evans, CPA, is the Chief Financial Officer for the National Cattlemen’s Beef Association. He is responsible for all information technology, accounting and financial matters relating to the association, including budgeting, banking, cash management, auditing, and management of the accounting and IT staff. He also monitors financial activities related to service contracts between NCBA and various entities. 

Doug has solid experience in strategic planning, mergers and acquisitions, operations, management, finance, accounting and administration. Before joining NCBA he was corporate controller for New Global Telecom in Golden, Colorado, and prior to that served for 17 years in similar positions with a number of firms, including three food companies. Doug received his Bachelor of Business Administration in accounting from Texas Tech University in 1989, and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. 

Born and raised in Hereford, Texas, Doug has hands-on experience working in feeding and packing operations. He and his wife, Karen, have three children, Chandler, Carson and Ella.
